If you are publishing traditionally (querying agents or submitted directly to publishers), you do not need book design services. Your publisher will handle your book design.
When to Start Design Services #
Before beginning interior layout, all of your editing services should be complete and your manuscript should be finalized.
You can begin your cover design any time, including during the editing process.
Note that these services are typically completed simultaneously. We cannot finalize your cover without your finished interior and vice versa.
