Proof copies are available before a book is published. They have a watermark on the front cover. The purpose of proof copies is to check your printed book before making it available for purchase.
You will have an opportunity to order proof copies from Amazon KDP at the end of the uploading process.
1 Click "Request proof"
2 Select a marketplace. If you are in the United States, choose Amazon.com.
3 Click "Submit Proof Request"
4 Proof copies of your book will be placed in your Amazon cart. Remember that these copies will be watermarked.
