# Proofreading Checklist

Before submitting a proofread, please ensure you have completed all items on this list.

- Spell check or ProWritingAid
- Find and Replace
  - Extra spaces (replace " " with " ")
  - Manual tab (replace "^t" with "")
  - Extra spaces after paragraphs (replace "^p " with "^p")
  - Extra spaces before paragraphs (replace " ^p" with "^p")
  - Consistent ellipses formatting—ellipsis character or three periods with non-breaking spaces
