After booking the post-layout interior changes service, you will be asked to complete a brief detailing the requested changes (up to 20).
Choose from the following methods:
Acrobat Reader #
This is the ideal way to submit your requested interior changes. Acrobat Reader is free to download from Adobe.
1 Open your PDF manuscript in Acrobat Reader.
2 Click the "Comments" icon.
3 Use the "Find text or tools" search bar if you cannot locate the commenting tools.
4 Select the tool you are searching for.
5 Click here.
6 Select "Strikethrough"
7 Select the word or section you want to delete.
8 Add a comment, if you like.
10 Click here.
11 Select "Replace"
12 Select the text you would like to replace.
13 Note the content you would like to replace the text with.
14 Click here.
15 Select "Insert"
16 Click where you would like to insert text.
17 Add a comment with the text you would like to insert.
Microsoft Word #
Upload a Microsoft Word document with the changes noted using Track Changes. Please note that applying formatting to the next, such as highlighting, is not sufficient to make the requested changes.
List Interior Changes #
If you cannot use the above methods, please list your requested changes clearly. Include the folio page number (the page number printed inside the book) and sufficient context.
