Use this template when writing your synopsis.
Your synopsis should details your entire plot, including the ending. My synopses are two to four pages; always check the agent’s or publisher’s requirements.
Pay special attention to causation. (Events happen because of other events, driving the plot forward.)
Your synopsis allows agents and publishers to spot potential issues in your story’s plot and structure. Similarly, a synopsis critique can highlight areas that need to be addressed through revisions or a developmental edit.
