After editing and proofreading books for several years, I found that I was really interested in the next step in the book production process: designing book interiors. I took book design classes in 2018 and have been designing book interiors for print and ebook ever since. I really enjoy using the visually creative side of my brain to create interiors that match well with the cover yet are simple and elegant in design. Bringing a story from manuscript to printed book is an exciting process, and I love that I’m able to use my knowledge and experience to help authors see their vision come to life.
