Many nonfiction authors opt to include an index in their published book, to help readers easily find mentions of topics.

This service should be completed in conjunction with interior layout. You will need your print PDF with finalized page numbers prior to indexing. Your indexer will return the completed index as a Word document, and then your interior designer will need to add the index prior to publication.

If you're completing your interior layout through Blue Pen, the process will be seamless, as the interior designer and indexer will be in direct communication.
